It’s our top priority to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care for members and raise awareness of the behavioral health benefits included with members’ health plans.
Array Behavioral Care, a virtual provider that specializes in telepsychiatry and behavioral health counseling for members age 5 and up, has joined our network and is available for most members.
Array’s AtHome virtual care program provides psychiatry, behavioral and mental health care to members in their home or other private setting through secure, online video calls. Treatment is available to commercial members everywhere, including children living in rural and urban communities who don’t have convenient access to a child psychiatrist. The flexibility of virtual delivery improves member engagement and can lower spend for members and employers through early interventions.
Array clinicians—including adult psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed therapists, counselors and social workers—treat patients with mild to moderate symptoms, perform psychiatric evaluations and offer medication management. Members can call Array at 1-800-442-8938 from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PT Monday through Friday, and 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. PT on weekends to schedule an appointment. They can visit arraybc.com to search for providers. Appointments can usually be scheduled within two to seven days of completing an intake form.
Array joins a growing range of virtual behavioral health providers available to commercial members across our network. While user-friendly, Array may not be right for individuals who are uncomfortable using technology or require a higher level of care, and it's not appropriate for individuals who are suicidal or in crisis.
Members are encouraged to create an account and sign in to see which behavioral health providers are included on their plan. You can also share our Behavioral Health Resources flyers with employers and encourage them to share them with employees:
The flyers list all the ways employees can find and access behavioral health care. Members can contact and receive care quickly from the virtual providers listed on the flyer with no referral and no pre-authorization required.
