We’ve received approval on Medicare Supplement rates for Idaho and Washington:

• Effective March 1, 2023, Regence Bridge Medicare Supplement plans will see an average 5% increase for existing members in Idaho.
• Effective April 1, 2023, our Regence Bridge Medicare Supplement plans will see an average 5.5% increase for existing members in Washington.

Our Medicare Supplement plans offer opportunities to continue adding new enrollees throughout the year. In addition to this flexibility and our competitive rates, here are some other reasons to sell our Medigap plans:

Idaho Household discount: We will continue to offer Idaho members a Household Discount (HHD), which is increasing to $20 per member per month, effective March 1, 2023. New members on Plan G have a base rate of $195 and a discounted rate of $175 with the HHD. Eligibility requires two or more individuals residing in the same household to be enrolled on community-rated Regence Medicare Supplement policies. The discount will be removed from both policies when the two members no longer reside together, except in the case of a member’s death.

Current members who are not taking advantage of the discount can complete the Household Discount Application or call Customer Service at 1-888-319-5519 to request it by phone.

Washington Spousal discount: We will continue to offer Washington Medicare Supplement members a Spousal Discount, which will remain $15 per member per month, effective April 1, 2023. Eligibility requires two members to reside in the same household and be married or state-registered domestic partners. The discount will be removed from both policies when the members no longer reside together, except in the case of a member’s death.

Current members who are not taking advantage of the discount can complete the Spousal Discount Application or call Customer Service at 1-888-319-3315 to request the discount by phone.

Lifetime commissions: We continue to pay commissions on all Medicare Supplement plans for the life of the policy.

Idaho Medicare Supplement plan transfer rule: We allow Idaho applicants transferring from another Medicare Supplement plan with greater or equal benefits to transfer in any calendar month, with guaranteed issue. We don’t require the member to wait for their birth month to transfer, and they don’t have to go through medical underwriting. Their existing plan must have been written June 1, 2010, or later.

Silver&Fit®: Included with all Regence Medicare Supplement plans, Silver&Fit enables members to choose the following options at no additional cost:

• Fitness center membership: Members can visit any of the thousands of participating fitness centers or select YMCAs.
• Home fitness kits: Members can choose from a variety of kits, including wearable fitness trackers, Pilates, strength, swim and yoga. Members can choose one kit per year.
• Access to healthy aging coaching; daily workout classes on Facebook Live, YouTube, and through on-demand videos available online or the Silver&Fit ASHConnect™ mobile app; a well-being social network with 120,000 clubs and groups; a quarterly newsletter; and rewards for reaching new fitness milestones.

Regence Advantages discounts: Members can access savings on health-related products and services, like dental products, hearing aids, vision care and more. Discounts are offered to all Regence members at no additional cost, although some vendors may include separate fees. View available discounts.

Using our online shopping and enrollment tool in Producer Center ensures you’ll use the correct form, improve processing time and reduce errors.

Notice of Rate Change (NORC) letters were mailed in January, notifying members about rate changes. Rates in the NORC letters reflected any discounts, including household discounts. Discounted rates will also be reflected on members’ March invoices.
